Sinopse
In the village divided between two countries, who is the foreigner?
Rio de Onor and Rihonor de Castilla, two villages said to be a single small community on the border between Portugal and Spain, have lived for centuries divided between the two countries. Filmed over five years, the documentary intimately inhabits the daily lives of the few remaining residents, reflecting on issues of belonging and borders, loss and death. Between “us” and “the other,” we experience a remote piece of Europe in a vanishing community.
